Description: Outer Light and Cold Creek decided to put their own twist on this old style by brewing a blonde Bière de Garde with Pinot Grigio grapes. We then enhanced the wine character by adding Hallertau Blanc hops, which impart a grape-like sweetness comparable to Nelson Sauvin hops. Then we dry hopped it with just a touch of Citra for an even juicier finish. The malt bill is unique as well. It contains 16% spelt, which is a species of wheat that imparts a slightly nutty flavor.
