Wild Wiscovery Ale | Pearl Street Brewery (Wisconsin)
ABV: 5.5%
Style: Pale Ale - American
Out of Production
Description: In 2007, a retired Professor of Horticulture discovered a lone wild hop plant on his Wisconsin Farm. He knew the potential uniqueness of this hop since hops hadn’t been grown commercially in Wisconsin in over 140 years. After extensive lab tests confirmed that no domesticated hops exhibit the profile of these hops, their wild nature was confirmed. We got our hands on some of these wild and zesty hops and, much to our delight, found them to be awesome smelling and quite suitable for a great new beer! These wonderful wild Wisconsin natives, coupled with 100% Wisconsin barley malt make up the recipe for this hoppy copper lager.
