Description: We at Port City are happy to introduce a new twist on our Russian Imperial Stout known as Colossal 6: the Bourbon-Calvados Barrel Aged Colossal 6. This version was aged for 15 months in a calvados barrel from our friends at One Eight Distilling that they had used to finish an 11 year wheated bourbon. The semisweet chocolate and roasted coffee flavors of our Colossal 6 pair wonderfully with the toasty oak, crisp apple, and vanilla notes of the barrel to create a full-bodied, smooth as silk beer drinking experience. With its warm bite and soft bitter-sweet balance, our barrel aged Russian Imperial Stout has the character of a delicious, decadent dessert that will leave you craving sip after sip. Coming in at 13.5% ABV, our Bourbon-Calvados Barrel Aged Colossal 6 is best enjoyed over time.
