Description: Inspired by the early days of Hollywood & it's film industry- a scene that exploded with dreamers and doers much like the current craft-brewing scene in the Raleigh- The Raleigh Wood Series is our malty interpretation of an actor and their repertoire. In this case, the actor is an English style old ale providing a different barrel-aged performance every year! This year's performance comes from a nine month stint in RUM barrels. The experience contributed layers of spirit characters- molasses, raisin, toffee and stone fruit-which compliment the ale's toasty caramel nature. Strong malt and sweet fruit open the show followed by a bready second act and wrapping up with a dry roasty finish!
