Tinc'd Out Turtle | Saltwater Brewery

ABV: 7.16%
IBU: 57
Style: IPA - Black / Cascadian Dark Ale
Out of Production
Description: When deciding on when to make the beer, we decided to brew when Spike came back from his trip to Europe. We thought it would be a good idea to use half US malts and half English malts in the mash, English hops in the boil and US hops for dry-hopping. To keep the pair theme going, we blended Terrapin and our house yeast. For the style we decided on a black rye ipa, because how can you not make a Rye beer with Spike? The name was easy, this beer pours black with a cream colored head, and smells and taste of a certain plant. We also took inspiration in the name from our Denver trip with Terrapin's Andy. If you still don't understand the name, ask Andy next time you see him.
