Description: Cultigen is a dark sour crafted with Pilsner malt, Vienna malt, wheat, rye, oats, and Midnight Wheat. Fermented with Belle Saison, Brett Drie, and various dregs from Firestone Walker, Jolly Pumpkin, and Upland. Acidified with Lactobacillus Plantarum and Lactobacillus Brevis. Then we will age it in whatever fresh barrels we have at the brewery. A cultigen is a plant that has been deliberately altered or selected by humans; it is the result of artificial selection.
