Description: Two separate mashes were used in the making of this imperial stout. Only the first runnings were used: no sparge. A thirteen hour boil aided in the creation of the pitch black wort, then fermented out with our house yeast in stainless. A lower carbonation combined with bottle conditioning, enhances the lush, viscous mouthfeel. Rich and decadent, reminiscent of blackstrap molasses.
