Description: Moss Covered Castle is an Imperial Milk Porter with House Roasted Coffee. Brewed with a complex grist emphasizing chocolate and caramel malts, as well as a touch of lactose sugar and a very light hopping with US varieties. Fermented with our house Ale yeast, and cold conditioned on our absofreakinlutely delicious house roasted coffee (Rachel, our roaster, selected a beautiful Ethiopian bean and roasted it slightly darker than we normally would, to draw out deep toffee and burnt sugar notes). 10.2% ABV Notes of roasty coffee with a dash of cream, sweet bakers chocolate, gooey fresh baked brownies, sticky toffee, and a cold Manhattan Special.
