Abbey Ale | Way Beer
ABV: 7.5%
IBU: 15
Style: Belgian Dubbel
Actively Produced
Description: This beer is a re-reading of the Way of Abbey beers or Abbey Beer that came out around 1960. In it, one of the main ingredients added is the sugar cane syrup, Candy Sugar, made by Way, especially for this beer. The yeast used produces a lot of fruity aroma, the main characteristic of beer that uses a lot of caramelized malt. Candy Sugar ferments along with malts resulting in an alcoholic beer with enough sweetness and plenty of residual sugar.
